Just digging in to an episode of This American Life (first segment), which deals with an Iraq War veteran struggling to defeat his own scars of post traumatic stress disorder by joining the local Muslim Student Association. Would love to hear your thoughts.
One of the most disturbing thoughts raised, and something I had not even considered, is of how many young Americans now first encounter Islam...

Great article on 53 Muslim and 43 Jewish youth gathering in the Twin Cities, sent by our friend Samer Khader. Samer teaches at the Minnesota International Middle School, which partnered with the Minneapolis Jewish Day School for the event.
He also has a brief appearance in the article, and eloquently points out that interfaith action is much more possible...
